Find a job

Practical advice

You are a young graduate and looking for your first job?

Expand your contacts ‘network and increase your chances of finding an employment.

Our experience shows us that students find a job, for most of them, by their own means or through HANDISUP.

Don't wait for employment recruitment agencies or employment recruitment agencies for disabled people to find you a job!

Your job, it’s you who will find it!

However here are some useful advice:

- Register with Pole Emploi (ex ANPE) and request a specialized follow up (Cap Emploi) in order to benefit from a follow-up, advice, financial aid, etc. If you require adjustments with your position, you can receive support from specialists.

- If you have obtained a “BAC+3” diploma certificate, contact APEC, the accompaniment specialist for executives.

- Become familiar with your employment rights in both public and private sectors by consulting “employment” and “discrimination”.

- Request your disabled worker recognition from the MDPH. If you already have this recognition, make sure it's up to date.

- “Submit your CV” to different company websites and to “Handicap business and administration” services.

- Participate in business forums and in the  “Meetings between disabled Students and Companies” that we organize every October.

- Consult different websites via "Useful Contacts". We advise you to send your application to the Human Resources department as well as to Handicap Service.
